The Father’s House Vacaville, Roseville(the two I have attended) are exactly as said’ the Father’s House, the word of God from the Bible in encountered. Now a first time visit, depending your experience might be odd, but a cult certainly it is not. And those not hearing the word of God, during each and every service, could be due to unfamiliarity with the Bible itself, not unusual since many Christians spend little time reading it. Also they are not judgmental. At the end of services they offer classes, activities and groups where those attending can get acquainted, with Biblical teaching and principles, and you may have not been greeted, because they greet folks as they come in prior to service, during service, not so much after service. Once you become familiar and others meet you, you are like family. I think it would behave anyone to go again, try to be there early and feel the warmth my spouse and I felt Day 1. God has many houses, so if those of you that feel that TFH was not for you, I hope you found home elsewhere, or come back, give it a try. We came here to Roseville now (and have never left). God bless you and your families…

It's a cult. They're affiliated with Bethel and Hillsong. Theology is weak, statements are not scripturally backed, and it's all about living "Your Best Life" (the prosperity gospel).

    Stay away from this place.

My husband & I attended one sunday, we were late so we had to sit outside in the overflow area which was fine. What we heard of the sermon was okay, but when the service was over & we were leaving no one spoke to us, no one ask if we were first time visitors, it was as if we we were invisible! So we didnt return. Weither we where late or not, someone should have notice of us, Offered us a visitors card or something! Signed Disappointed. Where was the Love??

The fathers house is quite frankly a cult the word of God is not preached there; they speak (it's not preaching by any means) to make people feel good, you shouldn't be afraid to offend people by preaching Gods word because people are going to get offended if you tell them their sin is wrong the Bible is offensive if the people listening don't want to hear it but preach it anyways and preach it direct stern honest preaching is what works and is what is needed, but the purpose of preaching is for people to get saved and for lives and hearts to be changed preaching should be what God wants us to hear (which is that our sin is wrong), not what we want to hear, and the "bible" the preach out of is not Gods word the King James Bible is the proper translation of the original Hebrew bible and that's what should be used, they're music is worldly and more reflects the world than it does God; music is to prepare your heart for the message and bring glory to God, its main intent should not be for your own personal entertainment although the music OF GOD ( an accurate representation of God AND NOT THE WORLD) should be entertaining and joyful to the spirit, if you listen to "Christian" music and you feel like busting a move because of it then it's obviously not of God, if we as Christians should be different than the world then why are you making your music the same as the worlds, the services are the same as a concert I went to when I wasn't right with God, the only difference is that one is sinning openly and one claims to be of God, it's nothing like what the Bible says a consecrated church should be like and it's ridiculous, you can't see your own hand in front of your face and the light show directs all the attention to the people on stage instead of to God. And frankly I've been in the place there's no love it's cold and God is not there the community service they do , while it is helpful and good, is done with wrong motives of making themselves feel good instead of doing it to be a blessing to people and point people to the cross, this "church" is not a church, it's a cult, it's a scheduled concert, lives aren't being changed and people leave there and sin the same way they did when they went in people's hearts are not being changed and they're not turning their backs on sin, it's simply not right and I urge you to steer clear and if you're currently attending I urge you to open your eyes to what you're really going to and think about the last time anything you heard there actually got you closer with God and try attending a biblical church that really preaches Gods word. I recommended Lighthouse Baptist Church of Vacaville at 3321 Farrell rd or Calvary Baptist Church in American Canyon. (Colossians 3:16 KJV
[16] Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.)

  • This was my first time at a really big church. The worship was Christ-centered, which is #1. For those who gave bad reviews because they used a translation you're not used to or it wasn't for you, I'd point to Phillipians 1:18 and send you some love in Jesus name! Your growth in Christ is not dictated by a church, but in your personal relationship with God. This is the home church for some, but not all. I would suggest this church to you. It's worth a visit.
